Geophysical Surveys & Aquifer Mapping
We reject the “trial and error” approach to drilling. Our methodology begins with sophisticated geophysical exploration using Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) to map subsurface lithology.
By analyzing the resistivity of different rock layers, we accurately predict the depth of water-bearing aquifers, the thickness of the weathered zone, and the potential for salinity — achieving an industry-leading success rate.

Borehole Drilling & Well Development
JADCO employs both Direct Rotary and Down-The-Hole (DTH) Hammer techniques, depending on whether we are navigating the sedimentary basins of the south or the basement rock of the central and northern regions.
Our engineers maintain constant lithological logs during drilling, adjusting the well design in real-time to optimize yield. After reaching target depth, we perform rigorous Well Development and comprehensive Pumping Tests.

Solar-Powered Pumping Systems
We have pioneered the use of Solar-Powered Pumping Systems across Somalia, recognizing that high fuel costs and generator maintenance are the primary reasons for borehole failure in rural areas.
Our engineers design custom solar arrays based on the Total Dynamic Head (TDH) and local irradiance data, ensuring a consistent water supply even in overcast conditions.
